Life of Transactions…
Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind in business and in life…
No matter what we do in life we are making some life transaction. We want to walk from the car to the store we exert energy to get back energy in order to move. We make a transaction of energy to receive back energy we want to put to use, or we can say put to work. In life we are daily making transactions, and some come at different price points.
While some life transactions cost us little to no effort, we still have those moments in life that has us crossing over mountains we finally are ready to pay the price for. No matter the life transactions we all make in our lives we still will have to face those important life transactions that require us to add in some extra work. At some point I was faced with that very dilemma. For some reason it felt like the last life transaction that I was allowed. So many times in life I didn’t exercise the right life transaction that would have been the right skill move. There were times I knew I should have spoken up during the team meeting or group projects, but I would shy away. Making that life transaction of not being bold and not using my voice was a mountain that I needed some extra gear for.
The first steps are some of the scariest steps to make when stepping out in faith. But at some point, we finally walk across that mountain with accomplishment. But there is also a thought of thinking back to before you conquered That Mountain, and how fast so many days, months, or years, it took and now completely different transactions in life are being made.
Life is full of transactions and the times I reaped a good reward I had to want to pay the price to reap the right reward. As I paid the price and began to speak up in business meetings, and in group settings I began to see the benefits. My life transactions were adjusting and requiring different work, because I was ready to pay the price. The more I said yes and paid the un-nerving price of exercising this bold life transaction of stepping out in faith the better the reward. While I have had so far one of the best experiences by exercising this new bold life transaction of boldly talking about business and His Kingdom and Righteousness it doesn’t top the reward. While the first initial step was the scariest towards the podium as they announced my name all I could do was breath and Thank Him. As I turn to face the crowd for the first time as a speaker, I see a reward. I see my daughter and we both experience this moment together, me working with her by my side.
We will have chances to make those bold life transactions and step out in faith with no plans attached. But those were the times I reaped the exact and right rewards. Being asked to speak in front of a group was great and the rewards keep coming. It’s not that God doesn’t have my back and wants me to stress, but do we believe and have faith? He is with us during all of life’s transactions. But, sometimes in that moment of seeking His Kingdom and Righteousness a new bold life transaction is required to get to the next level just over That Mountain.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me.” (Philippians 4:31, KJV)
