Firm Stance…
Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind in business and in life…
Sometimes the will to go after what I know is mine can be surprising to me. Have you wanted something so bad you just went after it, and after taking a step back have questions? Where did that come from? All of that energy, determination, and focus. As I continue to walk this journey with Yah, I am coming to the understanding that this journey requires a firm stance. A firm stance to stand for those things we know are ours and a firm stance in knowing the right work will be done to obtain all that we are to inherit. This journey of life requires one to stand firm and be accountable and responsible for the proper management of one’s life.
For the past few months I have been focused on pouring myself out by managing my time to be more effective than busy. In business development it is very easy to become the busy body driving from one location to the next shaking hands and kissing babies. While that is nice and there is nothing wrong with it I was finding myself doing that very routine. I was busy driving from one facility to the next shaking hands but never standing firm in the true objective. My goal was to build relationships that can convert to business, but I was focused on relationships that convert to brownie points. In order to convert the relationship into effective business it was going to require me to pause and allow the process to catch up. But I found myself staying on the go moving from one facility to the next shaking hands with the right people, but never building with the right people.
For years I was able to have a sustained business life, but those years were a blur to me. Nowhere did I take a firm stance in a facility in order to pursue my objective of building the right proper relationships. I was tired of the sustained business life and was ready to pursue those things which I know are mine. I knew it was possible but I now know I have every right to have a flouring business life, but I also know it comes with a firm stance. That firm stance is in what has been proven. The right work being acted out under His firm foundation allows me to take the Firm Stance in knowing that by faith everything we ask for in His name will come. I ask and He opens the door. Still, it is my responsibility to take a firm stance and work every floor of one facility allowing Him to open every door so I can exercise the gift He has given me to effectively manage and pour out.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13, KJV)
