Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind in business and in life…

Everything that is needed in life and in business is a byproduct of what we desire in our hearts and minds. God our Yah places desires in our minds and hearts. These desires drive us forward as we work them out of us from our minds to paper, and then lived out.

Have you ever tried to speed up time and every time still find that it’s just impossible? One thing I enjoy doing is going to the gym a few times a week and even though I enjoy the stair master, from time to time it is the master. There have been countless times, and I am sure will be more countless times while on the stair master, I attempt to speed up time. We try to speed up time or at least I attempt to speed up time and it’s impossible. But I’m sure that is why I have heard and believe it to be true enjoy the process. New levels but not always the same routine…

At some point in life we try to speed things up as we start a new level in our journey. There is nothing wrong with it as its exciting and that initial joy can be overwhelming at times. But as we mature, we learn to still enjoy the moment while we keep everything together because the moment is meant to be soaked in not sped up. When we enter that new level from the previous level we tend to carry that same work with us up to the new level. As we sign the new book deal, sign the new contracted agreement, sign the lease on our first building we can take that hard work that got us to that point into the next level or next chapter. But if we are to move into a new level or the next chapter of our lives maybe the old routines aren’t the best choice. As we move into new levels along our journey it requires us to take a minute to allow everything to catch up. As we move into the next level or next chapter of our life’s journey we can’t forget to pause and take a breath.

The next level along our journey will require our work but first we can't forget to pause and take a breath. The work of the mental process is a part of the first step allowing us to slow down, allowing everything to catch up. As the new level comes upon us we have to be sure we are taking the time to write out the plans of the next step. While we are signing that book deal, we are also taking the time to ensure we write out the next plans for the book. As we sign the new contracted agreement and new lease to our building, we have to be sure we are taking the time to pause and take a breath. There have been times when I was promoted at jobs I would go into the new role or next level guns blazing, because that is what it took to get there. But I have to remember it all first started with exercising my mental preparation. So that when I did come out guns blazing it was intentional and right on the mark. If I come into any new level along my journey with guns blazing without taking that pause and breath I will still hit marks, but marks of the past. Taking that time to pause and exercise our mental preparation will allow us to reload, reset our vision on new marks or the new opportunities these next levels have for us.

“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God (Yah), and His righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33)
