Steady Journey…
Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind…
At some point we have heard the saying, “slow and steady wins the race”. But remaining steady no matter the season will help to carry you throughout your life’s journey. Maybe you’re someone who just started a business or maybe you’re a few years into building yourself back up again. No matter where you are at, no matter the season, stay steadily on your journey. No matter if your on top of the world or in the gutters you will go through ups and downs. No matter how hard you try to think one sip of water to someone in the gutter is as pleasing to someone hitting that last minute sale to keep their job. In both instances it was a life-or-death matter in that all someone needs in order to save their life is just one small drop, just one small win.
For myself I always wanted that big win. For me that big win wasn’t really for anyone else but for my pride and for me to feel good about myself. One thing that I am learning in business and in life is that not everyone or everything is here for our feelings outside of us. It’s hard to stay steady on a journey when the focus is pleasure. When we focus on pleasing ourselves by pleasing other egos it’s hard to remain fixed on the original plan, the original idea/goal. No matter where we are at in our life’s journey the season we are in we will go through it and into the next season. It is a rinse and repeat process that happens over and over and over again. The thing is that no matter our choices it compounds season after season no matter the season.
We are not perfect as I am far from perfect and as hard as we attempt to be perfect in our lives at some point, we will make a mistake. But the one perfect choice we can make every time is to go to our God, Yah. If we can make that perfect choice to go to Him our journey becomes a steady journey season after season no matter the season. No matter if we are on top of the world or in the gutter when we go to Him our Yah our journey becomes steady. We can have all the greatest and best ideas to save all of mankind but if I am un-steady then anything can be moved. It’s not the idea that needs a solid foundation as much as the person who put the idea on paper to be acted out that needs a steady foundation for a steady journey.
