Push Yourself…
Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind in business and in life…
Live in your freedom don’t fight in your freedom. There are seasons to life and just as free as we feel in the great times we should remain free in the quiet times. The quiet times or what some might call a bad season, slow season, but just not the right flourishing season we desire to be continuous in our life. It shouldn’t be any mystery but if it is then here it is, life is full of ups and downs. Life is a journey that will take you to your high points and take you to your low points “Quiet Times”. But in both instances of life’s ups and downs they aren’t designed to break us but push us so that we live in our freedom and not fight in our freedom.
When we are living life on our high note we can at times find ourselves fighting to stay on top. Instead of understanding that being on top is apart of our journey just as much as the quiet times and still we find ourselves fighting. We fight to the point of exhaustion and never being able to enjoy and appreciate the moment that is present. We find ourselves fighting too hard to stay on top failing to understand that at any moment things can shift and change directions. Even in all of our fighting there will be a test to endure because some points in life were just for a season. Not all circumstances in one season (great or bad) were or are built for the next season to come. At some point there comes a time we have to push ourselves to a point of understanding that there is a time for the great experiences in life and a time for planning. The quiet times…
The high points of life are great and as much as it’s a reward there is a lesson. Do we have the faith and belief in ourselves that We can do this again? I know that God is with me and I trust Him, but do I trust myself to get back to the top again? As these thoughts came into my mind, I felt the battle stirring up. I don’t doubt God, but what is this little self-doubt I feel trying to creep in? I know I can’t have self-doubt because that is having doubt in God. But the worry of keeping business on the top at times can be heavy. Instead of living in freedom I was choosing to fight in freedom. I started to fight to stay on top of the current level when the next level was waiting for me to make that leap. I know life has its ups and downs, and when you reach one goal then it’s on to the next goal. In life starting a new level, new job, or a new hobby there is a time to learn. A time to be quite, stay observant, and ask questions.
There comes a point in life where we have to push past our fight to remain comfortable, stable, and take that leap to the next level. There will be times in life that we will reach a peak and we know deep down we can’t go further up this mountain because We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and We conquered this mountain. Pushing our life and our business to the next level will sometimes require a season of quietness and that is a hard push to make. As much we love being on top and enjoying all the accolades and pats on the back there is that push to the next level. Pushing ourselves to the quiet time, having faith and belief in ourselves sometimes is the leap in Faith that was or will be needed for the next part of the journey. We shouldn’t desire to fight in our freedom but live in our freedom.
Live in your freedom don’t fight in your freedom. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13). We know we need to take life and business to the next level so we live with the freedom of this season of quiet to stay observant, and ask questions. Because the next level will require Us to put It, all the planning, into action.
