Bringing clarity to an overwhelmed mind in business and in life…

Don’t reach beyond your circumstances, don’t reach beyond where you’re at in your current moment. It’s hard to learn in our current season if we keep trying to reach beyond our own capabilities. We tend to find ourselves repeating seasons over and over again until we decide to not move beyond where we are at and learn what is meant for us to learn in order for us to grow the right way.

I found myself repeating season after season over and over again and at points I wouldn’t do anything except pray more. But in reality all I was meant to do was slow down, breath, and ask for guidance. I was to ask My Lord for the knowledge and understanding on the lesson that was meant to be learned. Not so that I could move straight ahead to my next season, but so that I am prepared the right way for my next season. No matter if I was in a season of abundance or a season of drought at some point I wanted to move past the season I was in. Either I was feeling myself in a season of abundance and felt I was ready to move forward. Or I was in a season of drought and I was ready to receive His water to quench my thirst, but no matter what I was always trying to move faster than the season. I was so eager to move on with my life that I would forget that in order to live the right life that My Yah made and designed for me to live I was to be patient and walk with Him, not ahead or behind Him.

I am an athlete at heart and will always be an athlete and I remember game day. No matter if it was in high school or in college game day was the same. I couldn’t go ahead of my team and walk on the field nor could or would I go behind my team to walk on the field after everyone did as a unit. I started to realize that in my life and in my business I needed to treat everyday as game day. Even now I have music going on in my place while I put on my clothes ready to go out and have a victorious day. But just like game day I must remember that I can’t walk ahead, nor can I walk behind My Yah, for I want to walk with Him step by step as I follow His plan, His perfect blueprint for my life. Just as I would stretch with my team on the field I do the same with My Yah. Not reaching hoping to grab a hold of the perfect plan to get myself ready for gameday, but I would stretch and breath with His peace allowing Him to get me to my destination. As a team we would all slow down and breath as we go over the gameplan that we practiced all week long visualizing all circumstances. Visualizing ourselves in all situations good and bad and knowing that no matter the situation the gameplan set forth by our coaching staff will lead us to victory as long as we follow it until the end.

It’s no different in our lives and our business as we go out not reaching beyond the capabilities that have been placed before and within us. But we take the gameplan that God already designed for us that will lead us to victory. All we have to do is stretch ourselves, breath and go over the plan visualizing ourselves in all situations while seeing us with our hands stretched upward knowing that in all situations His plan leads us to victory.

““For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29: 11-13)
