Its possible that the missing resource needed to take things to the next level is just a relationship away. In my decade plus years of consulting in business development and being guided by some great people I am learning resources are created through relationships. It might not always be how we expect that resource to come about but it happens when we humble ourselves.
This week I published and shared my new eBook Creating Resources through Relationships (click on title to download for free) and while I was happy to have published It the process is what got me. To be honest I have known for a while that I needed to write, publish, and share an eBook. I remember attempting to write, publish, and share an eBook, and the title was going to be Un-Pin Ur Life (click on title to purchase), which is ironically the name of my second authored book. See, when I was attempting to publish Un-Pin Ur Life as an eBook I was for some reason a little too busy with business stuff. I wouldn’t allow my mind to relax and was just clogged up with stuff. I remember spending hours upon hours attempting to turn this written work into a beautiful eBook. I mean failed attempt after failed attempt I was repeating to myself I will fall and keep getting back up. For some reason I believed deep down that I was going to create this beautiful one of a kind eBook that will blow your socks off. Like literally it was going to be mind blowing.
Well, after weeks of my mind blowing attempt at the worlds bestest eBook I had my mind blown. I have fallen and I couldn’t get up, because I wouldn’t get back up. I was defeated and like most I took that L like a champ. I opened up Fiverr, opened my bank account and paid someone to help me with creating a book that can also be an eBook. I wasn’t upset with the outcome because in all honesty it was the best choice I made to turn Un-Pin Ur Life into my second authored book. But the process that I went through was something that took a while for me to humbly say that I allowed my own creative ways get in The Way. Many times I look at life as a business and in turn it can have me at the business table all alone. Sometimes a needed resource is beyond anything financial or a material item. Sometimes in my life the resource I need is the right experience to help me unclog Stuff.
Sometimes the resource needed is beyond anything financial or material as maybe its just an experience that was needed. In all my attempts to turn my then un-published book into this amazing bestest eBook, I never once allowed anyone in. What I mean is that as I was working on this mind bending eBook project I treated it like a business, and the business was in crunch time. The experience I was feeding myself or my creative way of thinking was just clogged with stuff. For that whole process even when I would have times I could relax and enjoy life I would turn it into a business. I wouldn’t let anyone in and I wouldn’t let anything out. The experience I was feeding myself or my creative way of thinking was just clogged with stuff. As much as I was clogged up I wasn’t ready to unclog myself and allow people in and things out. But I needed this resource, this something that could allow me to think clearly.
Well, some 9 months later I finally write, publish, and share my new eBook Creating Resources through Relationships. This time the experience was different as I allowed people in and I allowed things out. I shared my idea of the eBook with people and even took my soon to be eBook on our family vacation so that my dad could review it. I was allowing people in to help create this wonderful resource that was at the same time allowing Stuff to be removed. As I was experiencing life with my family and friends it was allowing His love to enter in. As I allowed more and more people in the more of the doubt, fear, frustration, loneliness, anger and other Stuff was being removed. The more I let people in created the right experience, which was the right resource I needed to finish my first written, published and freely shared eBook, Creating Resources through Relationships.
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
