Boxed-in…

Why think outside the box…Why would I put myself in a box…
These were phrases that remained questions because I couldn’t understand why someone would want to be in a box. Why would someone have to say to themselves our someone else, “Think outside the box”. I would think to myself why would I even have to address this with myself or have someone else address it to me? Business development, sales, customer service, and just being in life is filled with many moments where I wanted to be in control. So much work was put into wanting to control every aspect of my business and life that I was slowly placing myself in The Box. It was hard to hear “Think outside of the box”, because I was so comfortable in my box it felt like home. Why would I question where I lay my thoughts down?
It wasn’t so much that I was boxed in but I was clogged up with so much worry that I couldn’t see beyond The Box of Worry. I wanted to control every aspect of business and life that I began to worry in thought, “Can I do this?”. I was clogged with so much worry that life felt forced as I forced whatever energy I could find within myself to keep moving forward. But everything took so much effort as I couldn’t see beyond The Box of Worry. But I wasn’t made for all of this worry. We weren’t created to put ourselves in boxes. Nor was I created to be Mr. Fix It All either. I wanted to put my hands in everything because the The Box of Worry had me feeling I wasn’t enough. But to get out of the box of worry I needed to think outside of these worries.
The worries will always be there…The ability to move beyond the boxes of worry will always be there…But the opportunity to always See, Speak, and Move the right way with no worries is limited…
