No Need for Apologies...
I can't speak for everyone but I know that I can speak for myself, and I have been one in the past to apologize for being me. In the past I have had moments where the "real" me comes out and then comes the stares, followed by a side conversation of "I've never seen this side of you before". I am not talking about some crazy wild night when the party version comes out, but the side that has their own morals and viewpoints. Some that might not go along with the majority of people. Going down that road led me to a place where I didn't know who I was anymore, because I was trying to fit into everyone's box. I never knew it was bad until a friend one day asked me what do you like to do. I had to really think to myself what do I like to do? I couldn't provide a solid true answer, but I could give a generic answer that went with the norm. At that moment I knew that I have faked the funk for way too long, and it was time I get back to getting to know me and who God created. It was time to stop apologizing for being the person God made.
In this day and age of social media it is hard to really know who someone is, but it's not our job to try and figure everyone out as it's our job to be ourselves. We can't be so caught up in the world that we forget who we are as individuals. That is what makes all of us great. God created us all different and those differences are what makes us all special. Yes, you might find some people that might look like you are even act like you, but they are still not you. What makes you special is knowing God made you specifically in his eyes. We just have to accept it and not apologize for God's creation.
