Smile You're on Camera!!!!

Smiles and laughter are so contagious they just draw you in.  I recently went to the grocery store to get food and other items and as usual the lines were kind of backed up.  It also was around 5pm so everyone getting off of work was doing the same thing I was, and that was to get supplies for the nights dinner plus some.  As I walk up I am doing the usual scan, which line is the shortest, hmmm how many groceries does that person have, and OMG did they just buy the whole store.  So, after some scanning bam spotted two registers that looked promising, ok now which line is best?  Well, it came down to which worker just looked happy and had a smile on their face, and once I spotted the chirpy worker I went straight to their register.  Now, don't get me wrong I end up in the frowners line but on that day I went with the smile.  The workers smile was so contagious it made me feel happy inside and I wanted to come along and smile right along with them.  The smile from that worker just drew me in and I wanted to experience what they were experiencing.  When you take a step back and think for a second a smile draws people to you even if the other person has a negative attitude at the moment.  Either someone looks at you and is like they just look happy and I want to be apart of it or someone looks at you and says geez why are they so happy.  No matter what it draws people to you.

So, as you go about your day try to smile more and enjoy the moment.  Yes, you might have one of those days and who cares because we all have those days.  No matter what why not just smile and keep it pushing.  You never know who is watching you, who's life you might impact, or the impact it has on yourself.  Smile like you're on camera and be ready for your picture to be snapped.  A person's smile or laughter is contagious and it has the opportunity to create an atmosphere that draws people in.  Try it for one day and just put a big smile on your face and go out into the world, yes even under that mask just smile.  You never know what it can do for you and the people you come into contact with.  So, smile because you're on candid camera!!
