Consistent Right Attitude!!!
I grew up around sports for most of my life and so many of the lessons I learned were right there in sports. Growing up we were always traveling to one of my dad's softball games. At of my dad's softball games is where I learned how to tie my shoes, catch a ball, and how to properly throw a ball. From that time until I was in college I was consistently involved in sports, and one of the many lessons that I learned from sports was the importance of consistency. I can hear it now from my day after he watches one of my practices, "Hey son you have to be more consistent on the field". I knew what he was saying but I never fully understood what he meant by being consistent, until I went off to play football in college. After a couple of practices in college I met with my coach just to ask him about my progress because I started to see less reps. There it was again he said, "We need more consistency out of you". Well, ok I guess my dad was right it's not like I didn't believe my dad, you know I just needed a second opinion. Come to find out my dad was right all along, I needed to be more consistent. It wasn't that I just needed to be more consistent I also had to have the right attitude as well.
Just because you are consistently doing the right thing every day doesn't make it completely right. You also have to bring the right attitude to the table every time you are ready to go to work. Being consistent in whatever you do can't be done right and effectively if the wrong attitude is present. Having the wrong attitude won't have you thinking logically, causing possible mistakes or slip ups along the way. It is important that while we consistently work, we work with the right attitude to ensure that we are making logical and sound decisions. This will allow us to see and experience the success of our consistent work.
